Werner Corp.-Chandler Aggregates has acquired Kennedy Hills Materials, a 1,037-acre quarry in Riverside County, Calif., for an undisclosed amount. Werner Corp. is a third-generation, family-owned business that started out with a concrete batch plant in 1920. The sale was brokered by Juve Pinedo.
The Vista Mine in Thousand Palms, Ca. The site operates under a Surface Mining Permit and Rec. Plan. It has approximately 800,000 tons of sand left in reserves and plans to extend the life of the mine, extend the permitted area, rezone the site to Heavy Industrial and submit plans for an Asphalt Plant and Engineered Fill Operation. Cajon Mine and Mill Site, a 430-acre limestone deposit and accompanying mill site located in San Bernardino County, Ca. has been sold according to broker Juve Pinedo. The site is estimated to hold nearly 300 million tons of premium-grade limestone and dolomite. The transaction included land patented mining claims and a patented mill site.
Indian Hill Plant is located in Ione California Amador County. It is an active slate processing plant on 60 Acres. This allows for operations to run 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. Upper Dry Creek Slate Mine operates pursuant to a CUP and Rec Plan for an open pit mine. The marketable slate reserves are estimated to be 4.7 million tones. Exclusively marketed by LAND BKR
Jacobson Construction Gravel (Mine’d 91-36-0131). The fully permitted 255-acre site is in Baker California along interstate 15. Interstate 15 is set to be the future route connection Los Angeles and Las Vegas via Brightline West Trains project. Juve Pinedo, sourced both the Seller, a group of family offices and investors and Buyer in the transaction.
